Friday night, December 1, is the annual Christmas Art Walk in Anacortes. It's the tree lighting ceremony, art walk in all the galleries (I have several pieces at The Good Stuff Gallery) and many of the local merchants are open with some great art and holiday shopping. The Red Salon always has a great party on this night and this year I get to be a part of the fun. They are pairing several of my abstract paintings with models. The model's hair, makeup, and apparel will be based on my paintings! How fun is that! I can't wait. Hope to see you there. Oh, and by the way, the 98221 Gallery at City Hall will be opening with a show by many of the 98221 Studio Tour artists called "Encore." Be sure to stop by City Hall during the evening. The show I'll be up until May.
