Here's to a busy new year!
The new year will start out with a new show at The Good Stuff Gallery in Downtown Anacortes. I will be the featured artist for the month of January. The gallery theme for January and February will be "Birds of Winter." I will feature over a dozen paintings, most of them birds, and most birds you can find in this area in the winter time. The reception will be January 4 from 6 - 9 p.m. I will be doing a live demo and there will be wine and goodies.
I will be teaching a class on painting birds in acrylics at The Good Stuff on January 12 from 1 - 4. As of right now there are a few spots left, so give them a call to register.
February will mark my debut at a new venue in Bellingham, a delightful shop called "Current and Furbish" located in Fairhaven, 1115 Harris Ave. Their Artwalk evening is February 22. My work should arrive around the first of the month though and continue through mid March.
I'm excited to be showing in Bellingham!
March will bring another featured show at The Red Salon. I love being in this upscale hair salon. The staff is wonderful and art shows well on their walls. Please plan to stop in.
April is tulip month once again. You'll find me at Tulip Town in the art shop. I actually work several days each week there in the shop. If you want to catch me in, email me for my schedule as the date gets closer. In April I will teaching my first class at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. I'm really looking forward to that!
July 13 is the Woodinville Garden Club Garden Tour. This year I am the poster artist for this event. It's such and honor and the club members are so much fun. I'm looking forward to their event. I will also be in one of the gardens with artwork for sale.
And that's just the first half of 2019. Many other fun things in the works including the Anacortes Arts Festival, Majestic Inn show and more, so stay tuned!
